About Taeris
Taeris is a fantasy world whose origins stretch all the way back to the "White Box" D&D Basic edition. The world was primarily developed in 3.0/3.5 and was the main world of the Haven Role Playing Gamer's Guild. The current development of Taeris is being done in D&D 5e. Tearis is the evolution and merging (over time) of many worlds. Taking elements of what works and what doesn't and adjusting accordingly. The Original world was started around 1978 and consisted of a central flat area bordered by mountains on the west, and hills and coastline on the east and south. The major cities were in a "L" shaped formation (SE, SW, NW), I do believe the southwest city was a large coastal town called Andar. This early world was was the basis for Riddari (with the population centers moved around) . As time went on this world evolved. To save time, and make things easier on the players we used the same world. Sometimes the new renditions were far away from the original starting point and sometimes the places were rather fantastical, but it always used the same familiar "bones" of the world.
